Absolutely disgraceful treatment from Mia Lounge. I paid a £400 deposit to secure the venue for my birthday event, with a CLEAR written agreement via WhatsApp that the deposit would be returned once the agreed bar spend had been met. The bar spend was met, yet FOUR WEEKS later I am still waiting for my £400. I have chased them repeatedly and have been met with excuse after excuse, including claims that there are problems with their bank account. Despite giving them plenty of time and opportunities to simply return the money that was agreed would be refunded, I still have not received it. To make matters worse, after chasing my money, my phone number has now been BLOCKED. I find this behaviour completely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. I have kept the conversations showing exactly what was agreed, along with proof of my £400 payment. I have tried to resolve this privately and reasonably, but I should not have to continuously chase a business for £400 that they agreed to return. The event itself should have been a happy memory, but the way I have been treated afterwards has completely soured the experience. If you’re considering holding an event at Mia Lounge, I would seriously think twice. Get absolutely EVERYTHING in writing, keep every message and every payment record, and be extremely cautious about handing over a deposit. I am now taking steps to recover the full £400 through the appropriate channels. Shocking customer service and an appalling way to treat someone who chose to spend their money celebrating at your venue. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My younger sister had her gender reveal party here, and we booked the venue for the celebration. They were incredibly generous and provided the venue free of charge, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the event. The food was delicious and well prepared. While the drinks weren’t quite to my taste, they were beautifully presented and added a nice touch to the overall experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I’d definitely recommend this venue for special occasions. Ruby…. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £50–60
