It is the best spot near Lake Highlands North Recreation Center. A good fried chicken is the best choice here. The high ratings of this restaurant wouldn't be possible without the nice staff. The pleasant customer service displays a high level of quality at Michelle's Homestyle Cooking. This place offers you fine prices for tasty meals. You will certainly appreciate the decent atmosphere. On Yelp, one of the rating agencies, this spot is rated below average.

I always eat here when I’m in Dallas.. This’s my favorite spot before hitting the highway. Friendly service, great food, and the best kool aid ever.. ????????

This is supposed to be a Soul Food Restaurant. They only had dark chicken and I thought was pretty odd. Said that was there daily menu. Greens look like they weren't done, look more like relish. Hush puppies weren't cooked thoroughly. Instant mac and cheese. Turkey Wings and Necks were tuff, with bland gravy. Everything seemed to be frozen and warmed up. Will Not be going back!

They offer a wide variety of foods, and it is apparent that they work hard to keep their huge buffet filled with hot and fresh food. The corn bread was perfect. The beef tips, superb. The greens, turkey and beans were all excellent. We got great service today as well. I heartily recommend Michelle's Homestyle Cooking.
