Have wanted to come to miga for a couple years now ever since walking past it otw to the canal and only recently finally decided to come here for lunch. One thing must be said. The galbijjim is a must. Best galbi I’ve had to date. Rich, complex, sweet and savoury flavours in the braise for a meaty, slightly fatty, tender rib. Each component of the braise and meat was pronounced in each bite. But don’t skip out on the carrot and pear either. Assumingly used to bring out the sweetness in the braise, they also have their own complexities and help highlight the braising process. The portion size for the hwe muchim was very generous. Lots of whitefish with each bite being tangy and refreshing with a some subtle spice. It was almost too much to share between just 2 of us. Unfortunately to me the mung bean pancake was a little dry and a bit thicker than I would’ve liked. Also it did get very one dimensional after a few bites so I just wished there were more of the other veg in it. Ultimately I would come again just for the galbijjim and I would love to try some other dishes too esp for dinner. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40
