My first time finding at Milkweed. We arrived by 9:30 which evidently on a Sunday was early enough to beat the crowd. It was a very nice experience. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Dutch pancake with lemon ricotta and blueberries. It was very tasty. I'll exclude the lemon ricotta next time, as I like the Dutch pancake's flavor to come through. I will be back! Pretty disappointed in this spot. To break down each rating: Atmosphere: chairs weren’t particularly comfortable, table was wooden and wobbly, and the place looks unfinished. We could see screws on the wall that hadn’t been fully screwed in yet. Service: we sat down and the silverware we got was dirty. Our server barely spoke to us and it took forever to pay at the end of the meal. I saw our server standing by the computer talking to people, taking his time. We also asked someone else for a box to take home leftovers. Food: we split the breakfast quesadilla and the sirloin mac & cheese. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla and would recommend it. However, the breakfast potatoes were incredibly bland. They were not seasoned at all and even when I used extra salt, it just bounced right off. The sirloin mac & cheese was just okay. It was also underseasoned and relied too heavily on the bleu cheese. I also found a piece of corn in it, which definitely wasn’t supposed to be in there. I took the rest home because I think I can redeem it with some sriracha. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
