We booked a table for 7 of us for this year’s Christmas lunch. Having arrived today a the designated time of 2pm we were surprised to be greeted by a queue to get into the pub . We were asked to wait in the bar area which was rammed with people . I immediately felt u uncomfortable because of Covid so chose to keep my mask on. We were told that they were waiting for tables from the 12 o’clock sitting to be vacated . So we queued at the bar for a drink while we were waiting . They had set up tables in the bar area as well and people were trying to eat they’re meals with people actually leaning over them due to lack of space … and people just kept piling in. It took us half an hour just to get served with a drink. The manager spent his time behind the bar and we were left to speak to the supervisor who was trying to sort things out . It was chaos. After waiting an hour we left when we heard that some of the 12 o’clock sitting still
Hadn’t had their main meals. We were worried about our safety due to the pandemic and spent most of the time in the car park but it was so cold . I felt really sorry for families with children . Shame on you Millers Arms for putting profit and greed before people’s health and well-being and for spoiling Christmas Day . Apparently they added a 3 rd sitting due to arrive at 4pm. Goodness knows how they got on! We won’t be giving our custom to the Millers arms again.

Six of us had a meal on Saturday 23rd October 2021 to celebrate two birthdays - one being a 16 year old and the other seventy one, the attention from staff and the food itself was absolutely fantastic. We have not been to the Miller Arms for quite a long time and we will definitely be back brining the other half of our family. Well done Miller Arms well worth a visit.

we often dine at the Miller Arms and have always had a wonderful meal. However on Sunday my husband had his usual beefburger, which was a little different, and I had roast Beef which I had enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately my meal on Sunday the meal was bland, the beef was hard, almost as if it had been cooked the night before and then sliced and served cold with hot gravey. Lots of lovely veg, but the gravey was very bland, almost as if it came straight out of a bravey granules jar, not what I expect for £13.50. Don't know if it has changed hands, lots of new faces, as well as a team of school children serving on, looked like it was training day. May go again, perhaps they were having an off day, it was very busy.
