Spent a week here with my wife as we were in Hakuba to ski. We had an amazing time and the gentleman who worked the front desk was so kind and lovely. Having the Onsen as well really made a huge difference - I used it everyday! We will be back!! Service: 5

We loved our stay at Minamiya. If you’re a cat lover, you must check out the cat cafe! The little fluffy babies there some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. And they’ll be all over you in no time. The onsen was particularly amazing after a hard day of skiing. It was my first time having access to an onsen after skiing and wow, somehow it really does take away all the soreness. I couldn’t get enough of the onsen. I also highly recommend using the massage room and listen to their eclectic selection of music. It’s an amazing way to relax. My only complaint is that the WiFi signal on Room 101 is very, very weak. Probably because it’s the only room on the 1st floor. This ryokan has a shuttle right beside the parking lot, and is about 7 minute walk away from ski rentals (from Spicy) and another shuttle that’ll take you to other ski hills. It’s close to Echoland, where you have access to a large (although a little overpriced) selection of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. ありがとうございます！
