MiniMini Café is a local hidden gem with a quaint, retro charm that instantly puts you at ease. Tucked away from the tourist crowds, it offers a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere perfect for a mid-ride break or a quiet afternoon. During our visit, we enjoyed a refreshing selection of iced drinks—lemon soda, iced tea, and iced coffee—all served in classic glassware with wooden coasters. The sweets were just as thoughtfully presented: a soft, individually wrapped baumkuchen, and a beautifully plated berry and chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Even the small ceramic trays for creamers showed attention to detail. This café feels like a favorite neighborhood spot—relaxed, welcoming, and full of character. Whether you’re cycling the Shimanami Kaido or just exploring the island, MiniMini Café is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer.
