Nice location, DO NOT GET THE ICE TEA. It's very bad tasting and poor quality. There was also very little chicken in my chicken entree. 7 small pieces total. Maybe equaled 1/3 of a small chicken breast. Overall, there are much better Indian places around. The high rating thay have here is not worth it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

If you’ve ever been to India you are going to be disappointed. Missing flavour, the dishes taste pretty similar to each other and just a real let down after hearing good things and seeing the 4.9 star rating on here. We ordered medium spice but it wasn’t spicy at all. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Mirchi is a great addition to downtown Hamilton. The service is good and the atmosphere and cleanliness is great. The food however is less than average. It’s not a good representation of Indian food. It’s a lot of oil and misses a lot flavors that authentic Indian food has. It’s a very watered down version of Indian food. The garlic naan is extraordinary, yes, but any gravy you order is the same tomato curry base with just different vegetables or meats. It’s not as authentic as I’d like but it’s still a nice change once in a while. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
