The elderly blonde woman at the hotel (I think she’s the owner) constantly shouts at the staff and treats them badly. Even though our checkout time on the last day was 10:00, she came to our table while we were having breakfast and rudely said, in a harsh manner, “Your checkout time has come, you need to leave the hotel.” The other staff members were friendly and smiling, but this woman alone was enough to ruin our entire experience. I would not choose this hotel again. Service: 3

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Gasthof Mitteregger and can’t say enough good things about the entire staff — every single person we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From the front desk to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Michel, who truly went above and beyond. His warmth, helpfulness, and great sense of humor made such a positive impact on our experience. Whether it was giving local tips, helping with dinner, or simply checking in on how our day was, he always made us feel cared for. The hotel is cozy and full of charm, with clean, comfortable rooms and lovely traditional Austrian décor. The breakfast was fresh and varied, and the restaurant served some of the best Austrian food we had on our trip. The location is perfect — central, close to the slopes and public transport, with everything you need within walking distance. This was one of the warmest, most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had, and that’s thanks to the incredible team at Mitteregger. We’ll definitely be back! Service: 5
