Modan was truly spectacular. First and foremost, thank you for your hospitality. We parked easily as they have a dedicated parking garage for the building (and validate parking fyi). Up the elevator to a beautiful terrace where the entrance to the restaurant is. We were greated for our reservation by both the hostess and manager on duty. Both were very kind and prompt to help. We chose to sit in the dinner room as opposed to the two separate bars, one a traditional bar setup and the other a "sushi bar" style setup. The dinning room is gorgeous with an entire wall of windows (including shades if needed). The view across a large open field to new modern Tysons skyline. The sun sets on that side as well so it was a beautiful golden hour which resonates through the building. We started off with a cocktail, a few apps, then both hot and cold entrees, sushi and finished with desert. Everything we had was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail on every item was astounding. Table service was also prompt and impeccable. The waiter explained the menu well, each course was delivered and showcased in detail by the other wait staff and they were also prompt to clean up as needed. Overall hands down one of the best experiences we've had in Tysons/Mclean area. Both the food and service was top notch. The location was easy to access/park and beautiful. This may sound cliché, but the experience was right up there with "high end" DC locations, you don't feel like you're in Tysons. I tried to make sure I was taking photos to showcase the food but after enjoying our time so much I forgot after the first course. Oops. Thanks again. See you soon.

I didn’t know what to expect walking in and wow! I took my little brother for his birthday and B (our waitress) did a great job creating a special experience. She was so knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Loved the aged sushi and the lobster roll. The food was delicious, the vibe was sexy and the service was high end. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I usually search and read reviews before I visit the restaurant. I was very satisfied with omakase experience. Handcrafted sushi just melted in mouth in second. It was my birthday dinner with my husband and my boy who's 10 years old starting to eating sushi, and he is a quite picky eater but he loves Modan Restaurant food. Staffs were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely comeback try other food in the future. I highly recommend you must try omakase and tasty cocktails! Everything was perfect except when we check out didn't waive extra parking fees. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
