We’re giving this a 3-star review based on the service. My husband and I were in town for a Hot Wheels convention, so we’re pretty easygoing people. simple, not picky, and not expecting anything over the top. My husband ordered the ribeye ($42) and asked for plain fries instead of asparagus. Our waiter, Antonio, responded by explaining it came with potato wedges and visibly sighed and rolled his eyes, like we were an inconvenience. He also ordered a Michelob Ultra, which took about 30 minutes to arrive because it had been forgotten. Once our food came out, we weren’t checked on again. no “how is everything?” until we were about done and no drink refills. If he had checked sooner, my husband would’ve mentioned that the steak was very gristly and difficult to even cut through, but instead he just tried to make do and mentioned it at the end when our waiter finally came around. To their credit, we were given 20% off our bill, which we appreciated. I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but when you’re kind, low-maintenance customers spending that much on a meal that’s expected to be high quality, you do hope for better service. The hotel was very busy and the restaurants had a one hour wait. We headed over to Monduel's for a bite. Mimi was a most excellent waitress. The food was delicious and the Revolver IPA was very smooth. A bit high but it's a hotel, what else do you expect? Would recommend.
