Valoracion del Guía Michelin

Una estrella MICHELIN: cocina de gran calidad. ¡Merece la pena!

MONOLITH links the splendour of classic cuisine to the future. Pastry-wrapped meat symbolises this connection – the diner can choose from several types. Hewing close to time-honoured recipes, beef and lamb are dressed in a Madeira wine and truffle sauce, while pigeon is prepared in a rich salmis. Sauce is assiduously reduced and poured unstintingly, in true orthodox style... Más información

Amuse Bouche ( Appetizer) Grape sheet , spring onion was very rich soup Macaroon charcoal, with carrot mouse and spice was delicious Fish with cracker was crunchy and very nice Fried Basil with scallop was good Monolith’s egg is the 3D egg, inside there is a cream cheese and bacoon, butter , honey cream, vinegar. This is fantastic. This the highlight of this restaurant. Loire White Asparagas Charlotte with vinegar sauce , basil sauce, angel shrimp and sea urchin. Fire fly squid risotto They put dashi inside. It was yummy too. After I add on butter, no squid smell at all. ( add on butter was my own style) Bread was good too. So far so good Tasmanian Salmon/Green Asparagus Salmon Roe was good and no fishy smell at all. Main menu: Today’s pie wrap with veal , asparagus sprout and red wine sauce. However , we have to pay more around 140 AUD which I think a bit too much for 2 slices pie wraps. Previously per person jpy16,500 dinner monolith, to get the pie add on jpy 14,000 so be careful at least end up you will gonna pay around jpy 30,000-39,000 including tax service. 1 glass wine jpy 3000, 1 non alcoholic jpy 1500, plus including weekend surcharge. Dessert Strawberry/ Coconuta was very good and well balanced Lemon/Honey/Tart was well balanced between sour and sweet crumbs. The services are a bit patchy, the waiter was nice and helpful. The 2 waitress , the other one nice and helpful and the other one was so cold. I dont think that I will come back with this kind of service and over price. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: I dont think that they have a vegetarian food Dietary restrictions: Call the restaurant and tell them

Truly an amazing place. Michelin level food that will make any special occasion that much more special. The course we had was quite filling and an amazing journey of unique flavors and eye-popping presentation. The pictures shared will be the menu in April 2025, seeing as Michelin star restaurants are encouraged to rotate their menus to invoke creativity. The atmosphere was cozy despite being a small, windowless room. The colors, music, and warm reception from the staff truly make this humble 5 table restaurant feel like a caring chauffeur, driving you through a night of enjoyment with friends or family with a unique culinary experience while guiding you along. There are multiple options for course meals, with my wife and I choosing the slightly cheaper one. But don't be fooled. Cheaper doesn't mean lacking in quality. The food was exquisite. H'ordeuvres including a Cumin Macaron, Appetizers that really short little technical skills to marvel at, Entrees that were simply delectable, and Desserts that defy definition. Simply an impeccable time. Better yet, with my wife being pregnant at the time, and us celebrating our anniversary, the staff were amazing at accommodating these special circumstances. Adjusting food to be safe for my wife, adding playful text to the dessert plate for our anniversary, and even facilitating pictures for us, be it food pictures or a celebratory picture of us for our anniversary. And all of this for just short of ¥50,000. This level of quality doesn't come cheap. You aren't here for just sustenance, but an experience. We spent almost 3 hours in the restaurant. My wife and I chatted, enjoyed delectable food, and bonded in a way that's oh so special for these kinds of dates. Plus, for the wine heads out there, the selection is very impressive. You can start from glasses around 2500-3500 yen. But if you have some money to throw around, you could have the staff bring a hand picked wine for each course, perfectly pairing with each dish. And if you have some real cash, I recommend checking out the rest of the wine selections from 10,000¥ bottles to almost 1,000,000¥ (not hyperbolic) bottles, you are like a wino in a candy shop. Plenty to pick from, plenty to explore with and pair with the perfect dish in your meal. Overall, well worth it to try if you are here to use some money and try something unique. As my personal first Michelin star restaurant experience, it's a high recommend from me.
