The food at this point is incredible and so reasonably priced. Daily specials are exceptional. Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Choices of Beer, Fish & Chips

I have been to the new Wray Hotel twice which has new management. Daman the new owner has already started the facelift and as a regular of some 40 years at the Old Beacy which was run down, I'm looking forward to the renovations and plans for the new look pub. I've been twice in the past two weeks with friends and am impressed with the prompt service, the menu is varied, the food is terrific. The salt and pepper calamari was tender the ample salad was delicious. My friend's seafood selection was huge and the prawns were too. Amelia and Charli the bar staff, were pleasant and helpful. Amelia brought us a glass of ice for our drinks because it was a hot day. Give the new owner a go. You'll be very pleasantly surprised.

Good food and cheap pint deals but poor bar staff service. Arrived and I was the only person waiting at the bar the other patrons were enjoying their beers but was ignored for a few minutes while he stuffed around with the fire that no one was using. Even the bloke next to me commented on his arrogance for not acknowledging me. then greeted with a moody bar attendant. When ordering food was abruptly told the pot pie not available. Adjusted our order and paid then few mins later told other items on our order not available so adjusted order again. My schnitzel was great but requested garlic sauce received gravy instead, couldn’t be bothered with making an issue over it. Ordered kids ice cream and was offered either strawberry or chocolate topping. Took the strawberry option received chocolate instead. Asked for the strawberry topping again and you guessed it they had run out of that too so dished it up with chocolate regardless. Could of been a great experience if staff had basic courtesy, would of made a difference.
