Went to the cafe on 27th Feb, had a lovely experience . Great service, delicious food, clean, all coffee machines working and fully topped up. Went for tea and coffee, which you could refill as needed. The Ladies serving could not do enough for us. The food came out as ordered and the lady who served, realised I couldn't have butter, so brought plant based out for me without me having to ask. . Well done Morrisons Cafe on Boroughbridge road a big thanks from me. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: The Ladies catered fully to my intolerances. Dietary restrictions: Having intolerances, I ordered direct at the till. I had a little wait, but fully worth it. Person taking my order was fully understanding, even to the extent she checked, I had everything I needed.

This used to be a good cafe, decent food and good value. Not impressed by service a month ago but gave it another chance today. Waited ages at coffee kiosk only to be told no cups as alll in dishwasher. After another wait got served but no saucers. Went for cutlery, some of it clearly dirty and no teaspooons. Food arrived. Sent chips back as cold and tasted warmed up. Pizza OK but quality not as good as used to be.Sticky toffee pudding OK but been in microwave too long so a bit tough and only size of an egg drowned in custard. Many tables left uncleared, not a good look. Staff obviously stretched, one lady seemed to be having to do everything Cafe not even busy. Needs inspecting and given a warning if not closed down. Whose in charge? Need retraining or replacing. That’s twice, won’t be back again unless it re covers it’s old standards. Not worth any stars.

Dire. Sat in the restaurant at present with my soon to be 84 year old Father In Law, been waiting 40 minutes now for a breakfast, maybe the kitchen staff have went on strike, Staff not interacting.
