WoW! Mo's Halal is one of the best takeaways I have been to in Rochester and has only been open for 4 months. It's absolutely immaculate inside. The attention to detail is praiseworthy. We were greeted very warmly by Shelly. A lovely lady who is welcoming, friendly and attentive with everyone who walks in. We ordered the Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and Fish with Fries. The Cheeseburger was succulent and flavourful and cooked to perfection. What can I say about the Onion Rings? The most crunchiest rings I've ever had. A must order item. The Fish was actual haddock not some cheapo fish like other takeaways. Also the portion was huge and cooked just right. Then along came the owner Momo! What an absolute gentleman! He gave us fries on the house. Then he processed to give us some samplers. The lamb was to die for. Super tender, moist and very flavourful. The best lamb I've had in a long while. It didn't stop there...then Momo gave us some Fried Chicken to try. Again absolutely delicious. Just a word of advice that this is not a sit in restaurant....as there are no tables just stools. Hoping that will change sometime soon so we can have another chinwag with the staff. Looking forward to sampling other items on the menu!
