Honestly, this place is amazing. I’ve been here twice now and the food is absolutely phenomenal. The service is amazing and atmosphere is extremely inviting. I would like to make a special mention about Yuli, one of the amazing staff. She was super attentive and always providing me service with a smile! I love this place! I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Pererenan Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We've been coming to Mostly multiple times during every trip to Bali for the past few years, and it remains my favorite restaurant on the island. The food is consistently outstanding. Honestly, I can't think of a single bad dish we've had here. The fresh juices are some of the best in Bali, and the truffle ramen and duck ramen are absolutely to die for. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and until recently the service had always been excellent. Unfortunately, our last visit on Wednesday around 5:30 PM left a bad impression. The hostess in the red dress informed us that all but one outdoor table (which was by the piano and way too loud for us) was reserved and then added that she "needed it back" by 7 PM. I don't know if she thinks she works in Las Vegas, but this was easily the rudest interaction we've experienced in Bali. It wasn't the fact that the table was reserved. That's completely understandable. It was the way it was communicated. I don't care when the restaurant needs the table back, and we weren't planning to stay past 7 PM anyway. The comment felt unnecessarily abrupt and unwelcoming, especially in a place we've supported for years. That interaction was so off-putting that we decided to skip returning to Mostly for the remainder of this vacation. I'm still giving 4 stars because the food is truly exceptional and has kept us coming back year after year. I just hope management addresses the front-of-house experience, because it fell far below the standard we've come to expect from an otherwise fantastic restaurant. Had a great experience at Mostly. We ordered the seaweed salad, duck dumplings, and calamari, and everything was super fresh and full of flavor. The duck dumplings were especially tasty, and the calamari was cooked perfectly. The ambience here is really nice, relaxed, stylish, and comfortable with great music that adds to the whole vibe without being too loud. It’s the kind of place you can hang out, enjoy good food, and really settle in for a nice evening. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you’re in Bali.
