Valoracion del Guía Michelin

Una estrella MICHELIN: cocina de gran calidad. ¡Merece la pena!

Located in West Midtown, Mujō is an intimate setting with a moody elegance. A U-shaped counter crafted of Southern cypress pops in this square room with dark walls and low lighting. This is the domain of Chef J. Trent Harris and his skilled team who make all feel well cared for... Más información

Moju was our very first omakase experience, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to omakase. From the hospitality and customer service to the atmosphere and, of course, the food, everything was exceptional. We had the pleasure of having Chef Daniel Song as our chef, and I loved every course he prepared for us. Some of my favorites were the spotted knifejaw, marinated bluefin tuna, and blackthroat sea perch. Of course, the salmon, tuna, and fatty tuna were delicious as well. But the biggest surprise for me was the uni. I’ve had uni before and, honestly, it tasted like the bottom of the sea to me lol. This was completely different. It was so rich, creamy, and buttery that it practically melted in my mouth. It completely changed my perspective on uni. I also enjoyed a glass of sake with the meal, which paired beautifully with the experience. For our first omakase, Moju truly set the bar high. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was intimate and inviting, and the hospitality made us feel genuinely taken care of. Chef Daniel Song made the experience especially memorable. Definitely an experience I’m glad we had, and one I would happily do again. Mujo is, without question, one of the finest omakase experiences in Atlanta. Every course reflects an extraordinary level of craftsmanship, precision, and respect for the ingredients. The progression of the meal is beautifully paced, allowing each piece to stand on its own while telling a larger culinary story. The quality of the seafood is exceptional, rivaling some of the best sushi experiences I’ve enjoyed around the world. Every bite showcases flawless technique, thoughtful seasoning, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. Rather than relying on extravagance, Mujo lets the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs speak for themselves. The intimate setting creates a sense of connection between the chefs and guests, making the experience feel both exclusive and welcoming. The staff is polished, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest has an unforgettable evening. For anyone who appreciates true Edomae-style sushi, Mujo is a destination restaurant that is absolutely worth the reservation. Atlanta is fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber. An easy 5-star experience. I look forward to returning the next time I’m in the city.
