An excerpt from my blog: So, I'm sitting at the bar at The Lodge, an upscale sports grille in Mukilteo, WA, a few blocks from my hotel. The margaritas are really good. The music is perfect. I think it's the quietest sports bar I've ever been in. I'm pretty underdressed for this crowd. Though, At 58, I am of average age. It looks like about 70% women. The men mostly seem attached. There is a party on the other side of the wall from me. I've seen three impeccably dressed guys go in with Fortive shirts on. Likely the mahogany row types. To my left, two women are discussing very personal subjects, unaware their voices are carrying. Now and then, they'll start singing along to the music which is classic adult rock. The volume low enough that you can't tell it's there until you find yourself singing along. Everyone just seems comfortable, and happy. Including the employees. I looked at the menu. It's the type of menu that only displays prices in dollars, no cents. Though, the prices aren't that high. I'll probably go for the Fish and Chips. I'm a sucker for Fish and Chips. Even if the food is crap, this is a just a really great place to hang out. I ordered the Fish and Chips. It was excellent. The fries were thin and slightly crunchy, the way I like them. The fish was really good. The slaw was sweeter than normal, but still very good. The waiter was more than willing to separate the checks (corporate vs personal). In the end, it was very cheap. Impressive I give this place 5 stars. It was a perfect evening at The Lodge Sports Grille. Brian
