Normally I like to support the small shops in my neighborhood and pay a little more for it. Unfortunately, this bakery has not yet understood that its chance against the supermarket around the corner lies in service and friendliness. Bread rolls are industrial goods like everywhere else, which are carelessly thrown into the bag without a smile. I'd rather go to Rewe and pack the same rolls myself, but only pay half. Questions about the baked goods? None, the staff doesn't have the slightest idea of what they're selling. It's always a surprise what you ordered actually ends up in the bag. Wholemeal rolls are priced out, but you shouldn't assume that the salespeople know what they are. Several times I've had something dark with grains stuck on in the bag instead of the wholemeal roll I ordered. It would somehow still be charming if the saleswomen would pamper you with kindness. But they don't and you wonder why on earth they chose sales out of the many vacancies around them. Coffee is available and works, the taste is room for improvement (unfortunately the beautiful new portafilter machine is only there for decoration, the coffee still comes from the machine). 3 stars for the atmosphere because the store has the potential to become a social exchange location in the neighborhood.
