I had an unforgettable lunch at this sweet spot in Asakusa. The chef delivers one thoughtfully prepared course after another. You feel very taken care of. With only seven seats it felt like I was at a secret dinner club. The salmon course was tender and delicious and came with a form of ginger I had not encountered before and paired perfectly. I would definitely come back next time I am in Tokyo!

Dining at Asakusa Nagami was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Japan. My husband and I still talk about it—it was that special. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and refined. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between intimate and welcoming, setting the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, showcasing both precision and creativity. You could tell that every ingredient was carefully chosen and every element on the plate had a purpose. What truly elevated the experience was the wine pairing. Every selection complemented the dishes perfectly—enhancing flavors without overpowering them. It’s rare to find pairings that feel this intentional and seamless. Overall, the entire evening felt curated, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re in Tokyo and looking for a dining experience that is both elegant and deeply satisfying, Asakusa Nagami is an absolute must. We will be back in the future.
