My husband and I took a very dear friend there this evening Sunday Jan 28 for my 60th and our friends 87th birthday. We all had the prime rib dinner. The service was excellent and the prime rib was to die for. It was all of our 1st time there and we will definitely be coming back. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

Nanaimo Golf Club is one of the nicest golf clubs on Vancouver Island. The course is super manicured and challenging. It also drains well in the winter and has some excellent views of the water. It has a nice range to practice your skills as well as pro shop staff to teach you the swing. The pro shop by the way is top notch with products and service to match. Clubhouse food is excellent although when I was there, it was a tad slow in coming. It may have just been a busy day though. Service was spot-on. Nanaimo Golf Club is a semi private course which means they offer memberships but the course is open to the public. Their website has more details. Enjoy .
