Each time going to Bali, I've never forget to stop @ "Nasi Tempong Ibu Indra" @ Kuta, Legian. There are many other Nasi Tempong Ibu Indra, but I went for the 2nd times to the same place. On my first visit, I happened to see Hotman Paris was having his lunch at this same place. I used to have my favorite "Nasi Tempong Ayam Goreng". There are also "Nasi Tempong Ikan Laut" dan "Ikan Lele", Nasi Tempong "Udang Goreng dan Cumi". "Es Campur nya" is very yummy. You can also order "Kelapa Muda". I think there is Nasi Tempong Ibu Indra" in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta as well. So we can satisfy our longing if not in Bali. The restaurant in Kuta Badung is an opened place, there is no air conditioning but it is cool becoz of the many big fans. However, to our astonishment we find the lavatory very clean and cool becoz of the air condition. Make us want to stay longer and longer in the toilet, if not thinking about our hunger. Nasi Tempong Indra at Jl. Dewi Sri is always buzzing with people, and for good reason! Despite the crowds, the food quality shines bright. The rice, fish, and meat are all freshly cooked and served warm, and the veggies and sambal add that extra kick of freshness. While the service may be quick, it's a bit flat and lacking in friendliness, which might be understandable given the hustle and bustle of the place. As for the ambiance, well, let's just say it's not the coolest spot in town—literally! With Denpasar's scorching heat and the place being half-open without air conditioning, it can get pretty toasty. Now, onto the not-so-fun part—the prices. Brace yourself for a bit of sticker shock, as some of the menus here are on the pricier side, even compared to other branches. Even orange water is 25k! But hey, if you're willing to splurge a little for that delicious, freshly cooked meal, then Nasi Tempong Indra might just be worth it!
