Visited Hadleigh Kitchen Cafe for the first time today as I am Coeliac & had heard good reviews. Absolutely first class experience. They are completely informed on cross contamination & this immediately put me at ease. I had homemade gluten free quiche, with homemade coleslaw & chips, the pastry melted in your mouth & the chips were cooked to order. My husband who isn't Coeliac had the beef nachos that he said we're delicious. We received a warm welcome, a choice of tables & nothing was too much trouble. The place is very welcoming, is spotless & has a great choice of food & beverages at reasonable prices. Tables were all cleared upon customers leaving. We couldn't fit in dessert but they had a great choice of gluten free cakes too. We visited from Chelmsford & will definitely be back. Having phoned the day before to check regarding allergies when we spoke to Kerry, we were very pleased to be greeted by Kerry the next day.Kerry did her utmost to make sure we enjoyed our first experience at Hadleigh Kitchen Cafe.We both ordered a traditional English Breakfast,one of us ordering the bigger Breakfast.While we waited for the Breakfast to be freshly cooked we enjoyed a pot of tea for the two of us.The tea came up in a lovely white teapot and there was plenty for both of us.The Breakfast came up ,I had ordered a poached egg and my partner had ordered fried eggs,sunny side up.All the eggs were just how we liked them cooked but runny-delicious.The whole Breakfast was very tasty,freshly cooked and everything was hot.Hadleigh Kitchen cafe was a lovely place to visit made all the more special by the very attentive Kerry.We shall definitely be back.Thank you for a lovely experience.
