Inicialmente el servicio no fue muy bueno. No te hacen sentir bienvenido. La información no es clara sobre la diferencia entre el área del restaurante y del lounge, esto incluso cuando se realiza la pregunta. El menú de brunch está bien, tiene diferentes opciones. Hay una limitante que no te permite ordenar la comida del lounge para la zona del restaurante, esto a pesar de estar a pasos de distancia. En nuestro caso nos ofrecieron la opción de ordenar la opción de appetizers. La comida estaba muy buena, buen tamaño y buen sabor. Además, probamos un postre el cual también estaba muy bueno! The view at this restaurant was absolutely breathtaking — easily the highlight of the entire experience. The scenery alone made the drive worthwhile and created such a promising first impression. The venue itself is also undeniably beautiful and would make a stunning wedding location. Unfortunately, once inside, the atmosphere felt surprisingly cold and uninviting. The dining room was very large with too few tables to make the space feel warm or lively, so it lacked the cozy ambiance you’d hope for in such an elegant setting. Instead of intimate and welcoming, it felt somewhat empty and impersonal. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. Given the premium prices, I expected a much higher level of quality and flavor. The dishes were underwhelming and did not justify the cost. We had the privilege of visiting Nest for a family birthday. The ambiance was beyond compare of any restaurant that we have been to in the Durham Region. We made reservations for a table of 8 in advance of the Family Day long weekend which happened to coincide our birthday. I called the restaurant requesting that we be seated in the most 'prime' spot in the restaurant; to request a highchair for our little one; and to request a special birthday treat, they did not disappoint. Our server, Leon, deserves honourable mention and praise for going above and beyond to take care of our table, albeit us being quite chaotic given the large group size and birthday excitement of our little ones. Shaun (Leon's manager) - if you're reading this, please give Leon his flowers, a raise, a day off, and 'all-the-things' because he is, without question, the gold standard of care in servitude. Because of Leon, we will definitely be visiting again with more company to share our excitement of this hidden gem Durham. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
