Stopped in for a late lunch on a very hot day, the pub was busy, staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed two very tasty good quality pub meals and very good value too. Trillionaire tart was delicious and gluten free ! Well worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £20–30

Nothing not to like, this is how a pub should be run, from the customers perspective it looks like a light touch. The staff are clearly all friends, and highly motivated. The Chef Ahmed and Comi chef are at the top of their game. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and Pat is cool. Put this on your list of places to visit just outside Hastings in Westfield. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Walked quite a way from a campsite with our grandson to the new inn for food and drinks. Informed on arrival that as we hadn't book a table in advance they would not be serving us food, due to a 70th birthday party booking. The pub was pretty much empty with lots of tables available, even with all of the party guests being seated. Guess the chef isn't used to serving more than 20 people with food. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: £1–10 Parking space: Not sure
