Was in on the 21st. Some Mexican guy with tattoos who works here threw an absolute fit. He was rude, condescending, and an total ahole to his fellow employee and made every person standing at the registers uncomfortable. Honestly by the way the registers staff shook their heads and went about their business, I'd say this happens often. Never felt more bad for people working somewhere as I do now. My fiance & I agree that we won't be shopping here if they let employees treat customers and themselves like that.

I can't believe this is my first review for this location of New Moon Natural Foods since I have been several times before. This is actually my favorite place to stop in Truckee to use the bathroom and grab vegan food for the road on my way to Reno or North Lake Tahoe. During COVID-19, bathroom access while on the road is harder to come by, so it's nice that I can reliably use the bathroom here. I'm also vegan and this place is extremely vegan friendly! Every time I stop here, I see more and more vegan prepared foods available. On my most recent visit, I got a Vegan Breakfast Burrito. Some of the prices are high, but it's still worth it. There is also a juice bar here and a counter where you can get made to order food, so I'll have to check that out at some point too. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Truckee or passing through on my way to Reno or North Lake Tahoe.
