I was there on May 1st around 9pm-10pm. There was no body upstairs on the dance floor but me and my friend. There was about 20-30 people on the first floor. So not very busy. No one else was making song request. I requested the Tamia line dance song. He told me no, that he could not play line dance songs. Over the course of 45 minutes I asked for 2 more songs with no one else up there. He said he did not know or have those songs. I then requested a 4th song that he aknowleged that he knew it but he was not going to play it "right now". The bar was not busy at all and he saw me there for at least 45 minutes trying to get at least one song played. I guess a person like me is not important enough to have a simple song played for them on a slower night with no one else making request. The DJ treated me like I was insignificant. I will never be back. There are plenty of other places to go. Atmosphere: 1

Newcom's is my favorite weekend bar on the street! Staff is friendly and the DJs are awesome. Club-like atmosphere later in the night. Upstairs dance floor is cool. Oh and the patio bar out back is sweeeeeeet!
