This has become my almost every Sunday evening treat, and I genuinely love coming here. Their vegan ice cream is amazing, and over time I’ve tried nearly all of the flavors. Some of my favorites are peanut butter, soy, strawberry, pistachio, and their new Nutella flavor. Their shakes are great as well! I’ve tried a few different variations, but Oreo is definitely my favorite. The staff is amazing, too. They are always cheery, helpful, and great at giving flavor combination recommendations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious vegan ice cream and shakes!

Super nice staff, crispy waffle(earl grey tea flavor) on the outside and pretty soft on the inside, with very refreshing and tasty berry mix ice cream, and 225NTD total for the whole combo is decent here I guess, BUT I really missed toppings like syrups and whipped cream and I didn't really notice the chocolate chips 25$ addition. It's hard to find vegan waffles and especially bubble waffles as a traveler and I appreciate this place creating one, but it was not satisfying on its own so I think one time was enough. In addition the ice cream selection was quite small in my opinion and simple as well - mostly fruits. I was impressed though with the vegan Nutella flavor based on the official vegan Nutella. There are also milkshakes made with ice cream and soy/almond milk which I also appreciate since vegan milkshakes are rare as well.

Nice Cream is located around Zhongxiao East Road Section 4, in a pretty convenient area. It’s not hard to find at all, so location-wise, no complaints. As for the gelato itself — it’s solid and acceptable. I’ve spent over a decade frequently traveling to Italy for work, so I’m quite familiar with what proper Italian gelato should taste and feel like. The flavor profile and texture here are close, definitely in the right direction, but there’s still something missing — that last bit of depth or smoothness that truly great Italian gelato has. The pricing is on the expensive side, no doubt about that. It’s not cheap. That said, if you’re in Taipei and you want to get a sense of what Italian-style gelato is like, this place is still a reasonable option. Standout flavors for me were the peanut and pistachio — both were genuinely good, well-balanced, and enjoyable. The other flavors were fine, nothing bad, just okay. Overall: Not mind-blowing, not bad either. Slightly overpriced, but acceptable if you’re craving Italian-style gelato in Taipei.
