To be honest, the waffle wasn't as sweet as they had described it. It was quite doughy, but still managed to be crisp and chewy at the same time. And best of all, it worked well in a sandwich!
On my second visit, I decided to try the Croque Monsieur, but just with ordinary toasted slices of bread. The cheese was perfectly stringy, and the sandwich had been left inside the sandwich press for a good few minutes to allow it to fully crisp up.
Overall, Nicola's Cafe is one of those rare, authentic waffle/pannini stalls actually worth checking out in P-Mall!
