De Nieuwe Pluim continues to deteriorate!!! The eel in the green at 30 euros per person, in the afternoon of October 8, 2023, was tasteless and not sufficiently cooked. The shared portion served for 2 people was far from insufficient and only half of what is served elsewhere in Overmere. Since we wanted bread with our eel and no fries, no additional plate was provided so we had to spread our bread on... the table. The other, not tasty, option was on the plate in the green sauce of the eel. One big disappointment, both in terms of taste and quality; quantity as service. There was even a dog (albeit in a "pousette") in the restaurant!!! So we wisely decided to take our coffee elsewhere. Not worth repeating, there are much better eel houses in the area at that price!
