Service was good and friendly and not too empty for a Monday evening. They have good lunch sets too which I haven’t tried. I loved the eel rolls the most. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A place that does great sashimi and yakitori? Yes please! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here and my friend loved how fresh the sashimi was as well. The scallops are quite special. It's rare to find Australian scallops that are as sweet as the ones you get from Hokkaido.I would have liked it if the skewers had more of a char to them, but it more than ticks the box here. The chicken karaage was also very good and the tempura is lightly battered and cooked perfectly.A shout out also to the cod dish - there was a bit too much sauce, but the fish itself was cooked to perfection.Well done team Nippon Bar & Kitchen. I will be back for sure. Highly recommended!
