Great local coffee shop in Ryton Village. I came here to do some remote work and found the atmosphere to be really good and the staff very friendly. They offer free Wi-Fi, which made working easy, and it is a dog-friendly spot. I ordered a flat white and the streaky bacon milk roll sandwich, both of which were excellent. The menu has a good range of options, complemented by a display of baked goods, a cold drinks fridge, and bags of ground and whole coffee beans available to buy. Highly recommended if you are in or around Ryton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne! A lovely place to have a cuppa. Busy but not too busy on a Saturday. Felt lively and had a great selection of food here. They are dog friendly, with puppachino/pup cups for the dogs and a bowl. They have a customer toilet, and they sell coffee beans too! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

Sorry for the one-star, but this is the second time this month I've arranged to meet friends here during advertised opening hours, only to find it closed It's now called ELVASTON. I'm hoping it's as good as No. 6 was, when it was open. Maybe just call beforehand?!
