Stumbled on Noble Rot while staying one night in Point Lonsdale and it was such a great find. Loved the vibe — cozy, unpretentious, and full of character. The staff were warm and welcoming, and it had that lovely buzz of locals and travelers mixing together. A real hidden gem in a small town. Wish I’d had more nights here to go back! Price per person: $140–160 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely amazing restaurant / wine bar. The food is always top notch, and their large selections of wine round out the experience perfectly. Having a beautiful beetroot dish followed by a tuna carpaccio (both with a lovely Chardonnay) followed by the sublime wagyu rump and melt in your mouth lamb shoulder - accompanied perfectly by a deep Shiraz sent me into food and wine heaven. Plus the staff are amazingly friendly, welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend highly enough to anyone who loves great food, great wine and wonderful service. Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
