My family and I went to Noir last weekend and we all have nothing but good things to say. Especially because we had Joe as our server. He was super nice, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole meal. He made the experience even better. Definitely ask for Joe if you come here — awesome service and such a great guy! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have been to Noir numerous times over the years, with large parties of up eleven and smaller parties of four. Overall, our experiences have been good, with good service and food and atmosphere, and we enjoyed the place Our last visit for dinner, a party of five to celebrate a birthday, was not one of those times. The service was horrible, with it seeming that the server was more interested in chatting it up with a group at the bar than ensuring that our food and drinks were moving. It took a long time for food to be brought out. Someone from our table literally had to get up from the table on more than one occasion to get the server to refresh our drinks. One of the meals we ordered was very substandard; the food, a pasta dish, seemed overcooked and was not edible by one of our party-only about 4 or 5 pieces were even attempted to be consumed. In such circumstances, it is not unusual, and has been my experience, that the restaurant offers to take the item off the bill or offers to bring something else...that did not happen here. When we were finished dinner and had birthday cake, the check was finally brought over (after what seemed like a while and after we again had to find the server to bring it). The item was still on the bill. When the issue about the returned food was raised, and after another delay, the server came back and said they would only credit a portion of the cost for the item. Needless to say, after many visits to Noir over the last four to five years, this will most likely be our last. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
