It's pretty poor to tell me at 6.55pm that I can't have a meal, only a snack, because it's "that time of the night" and the kitchen are packing up. They're open til 8pm. I checked the opening time before I decided to have dinner at the airport. I've worked in a kitchen before and I know you need to start clean up early to get out on time, but seriously. Front of house lad was nice tho.

I enjoyed a delicious pre-flight snack at Noodles XO today in the Canberra Airport departure terminal. The pork and chive dumplings and chicken satay were sublime. The young man on the front counter was engaging, very friendly, and offered insightful menu suggestions. The kitchen responded to my order promptly and with efficiency. Overall, a tasty interlude at a great little airport lunch spot that met my expectations and hit my hunger spot. I’ll be back again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20
