0- Star Review for Noormahal Sweets (Southall). **Terrible Jalebis – Avoid This Place for Sweets* * I traveled a long way to Southall specifically to try authentic Indian sweets and stopped by Noormahal Sweets on The Broadway. BIG MISTAKE with the jalebi! See the attached photos. It was clearly fried in dirty, reused oil or ghee – there was a rancid, off-putting taste and smell that made it inedible. The pieces were inconsistently cooked: some burnt to a crisp on the edges, others soggy and limp, drowning in syrup without any crunch. For a shop that specializes in mithai, this level of poor quality is unacceptable. Hygiene seems questionable based on the oil used. I live far away, so returning to complain or get a refund isn’t an option. *^Won’t be recommending this to anyone – stick to other spots in Southall for better sweets.** (Visited December 2025) Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Per covid restrictions, eat in is not allowed. I was on my way to my hotel as a traveler with my hand carry luggage, I walked in Noor Mahal and there was no one else as a customer, I asked them for Channa Bhature to go, they charged me 5pounds plus 1 for coke. I opened the packet in my hotel room and there was gol guppa in the pack which they sell it for 3.50 pounds accordingto their price list. I believe in Karma, it will come back to them soon
