One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I’ve been super happy with consistency and quality over last two years plus. Not sure what’s going on on some of the negative reviews. Being Chinese I’ve always felt it’s usually a real good sign when you see a lot of other middle aged and up Chinese eating at a Chinese restaurant. The woman serving everyone alone is amazing that she can serve and have a great sense of humor even when they are busy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My brother told me about Noriega Cafe as a decent restaurant to get some simple Chinese food. I was specifically intrigued by the fact that they serve Hung Tao Yee Wonton (iykyk). On my way home from a business meeting in Sausalito, I stopped by to get takeout for dinner. Since it was mid-afternoon, the restaurant had only one diner so my order was taken right away. The order took awhile to be ready though. I ordered the following: Hung Tao Yee Wonton - decent but no restaurant has ever lived up to the ones my dad used to make Dry fried chicken chow fun - the noodles were fresh and the dish was flavored nicely but the chicken pieces were big and too dry Tomato beef chow mein (HK style) - this was probably the best dish but I don't like that they didn't separate out the noodles so by the time we ate it for dinner, the noodles were all soggy Overall, a solid 3 stars!
