Kandela! (fire) That's what you say in Papiamentu when something is very good! A must try if you like food from Curaçao. Difficult to pick a favorite, but if I'm forced to choose, I'll go for the Gyambo on Saturdays, or the pa será with Ham and Eggs, or... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was gonna give them a 5-star review, but I'm taking off one star because they were closed when I went during their open hours. So, I'm basing this on our first visit since they weren't open the second time. The food is awesome, we loved it. The restaurant was super cozy and made me want to book a vacation ASAP. The staff and owner were really friendly, and our visit was great overall. I'd totally recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
