All of the food I ordered tasted great. My only complaint is that the curly fries weren’t crispy. Other than that I will continue to support this establishment. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Cheeseburger

AWESOME PEOPLE & FOOD. We absolutely love this place. The food is always good & hot. The hamburgers are the best. And the hamburger steak plate is another great item on the menu. The BLT’S, po-boys, chicken tenders, homemade onions, home style fries & I could go on and on. I have ALWAYS given it a 4 star rating because of the food & the people that OWN & run it. Aunt Brenda & Uncle Russel McKoin are the owners. And one reason it’s so good is because they are hands on owners. They take pride in their business & the employees they hire. And it shows. If you are ever coming to Bastrop from Monroe or the other way; just look for the sign in front of the place. And there’s a little convenience store right beside it. You can eat outside or take it with you. It’s well worth the stop.

After Church this morning, I called "Not Just Burgers" and ordered their Hambuger Steak Dinner for lunch. It comes with a salad, fries and french bread. You can tell them "no gravy" if that is your choice. So....we had one with gravy for Eddie and one without for me. The food was very good and we both ate everything.....which is most unusual for me. Just thought I would pass the word...also the burgers are the best !
