We visited Number Eight during the mid-August heatwave and enjoyed a wonderful lunch outside (previously we have eaten in the restaurant which is lovely). The team were the definition of hospitality and could not have done more to make us feel welcome (which was particularly appreciated as we have some dietary requirements - this was not a problem at all, it was incredibly reassuring how carefully and considerately these were handled). The restaurant itself was busy, but that didn't impact the service or the food - nor did we feel rushed at all. The menu was full of creative, modern dishes that celebrate seasonal produce, with something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients was also really impressive - particularly the fish. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would like to thank the whole team, from the management, to the waiting staff, to the chefs, for making such an effort with our visit. Number Eight Sevenoaks is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is great. The whole team is brilliant and they look after their customers really well. My partner has a food intolerance and they always mark up a menu to indicate which dishes are suitable or changes they can make. Always a lovely dining experience. An amazing dining experience! The service was exceptionally warm. Every dish was not only delicious but also looked great. Coupled with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, this spot is a true gem.
