Excellent evening, the meal was exquisite (bean fricassee, fish dish with cockles and leek, light and divine pineapple mango dessert...) the service very welcoming and very professional. Our biggest surprise was the care taken with the dessert on the children's menu... chocolate mousse prepared like a grown-up's dessert! With a scoop of exquisite pink ice cream We had learned that the hotel where we were staying (Manoir du Lys) also had this restaurant, so we are not surprised because the restaurant and the hotel are for us the best establishments in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne! It's strange to put a review on a restaurant simply because their menu is problematic: a plant-based burger is displayed on the menu, but it is in fact not plant-based, only vegetarian (cheese, and probably brioche bread). At a time when it is forbidden to call a vegetable substitute for ham "vegetable ham", we are allowing ourselves to present a vegetable dish which is not at all. I can't imagine if you are intolerant or allergic and choose the dishes based on... A list of allergens is mentioned at the end... but which corresponds to which dish, which starter...? Mystery. In short, the cuisine is good, but at a time when the great starred chefs are going plant-based, some are content to put it on the menu without doing it in the kitchen...
