Some of the screens we have recently used are looking a bit shabby with poor seats that have seen much better days and require some repair. However the very last one we were in was excellent- Feb 2026. Unfortunately the complex which the Odeon is housed in is mainly empty units.

I visited today to watch EPIC. Arriving just before the film started I was having trouble redeeming vouchers on the app. Staff at the till said I'd need the manager and the service I received was faultless. He (James) made sure I was in to watch the beginning of the film and I had a great visit. Comfortable seats, clean toilets, great film and lovely staff. Thanks again. See you soon.

Odeon Cardiff is great value for money and generally a pleasant experience however I have now had 2 experiences where a film has been spoiled by distruptive behaviour in the audience. I went to see Wicked today with my family (which was fantastic by the way). However the experience was largely tainted by a group of about 8 10/11 year olds constantly running up and down the stairs, talking throughout the whole film and most frustratingly, using their phone flashlights throughout. In many cinemas I have been to, a steward will pop in during the screening and make sure that everything is well with the audience. Particularly with the use of their phones, they could have easily been recording parts of the film. What was even more despicable (though not the fault of the cinema) was that there were not one but two adults with them! I would be mortified if my children behaved like that in the cinema and would have marched them right out. The screening was packed so very difficult to go out and get a steward without disturbing others. I would highly recommend sending in stewarts every now and then - particularly when a screening is packed.
