I've been waiting to try the Japanese Soufflé cheesecake for several months now and so while deciding my Seoul trip, I planned to add this dessert to my itinerary since it's not as easily accessible back home. Had to make a detour just to Lotte store based on google recommendations and along the way I almost thought it was wasted effort as the the "Pine Cheesecake" didn't look any different from what I've had in the states and Canada...BUT How wrong was I!! My goodness...the first bite itself sent me to cloud 9; the flavour overall was really plain but the texture and the consistency were simply divine!! Having been to so many high end places around the world I can safely say this checks the box for elevated cuisine! Spent a good amount of time just googling this specific cake after having it...and that itself says it all! Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Passed by the store and the cakes looked very pretty. Potentially, the range of cake slices could be a good gift given how presentable they are. Bought a slice of cheesecake — it was just alright. We expected it to be a bit more yummy based on how good it looked.

We picked up a couple of cakes from OPS as we were staying across the road at a hotel in Myeongdong and I was really craving strawberry cream cake. The desserts we picked were delicious, though for the price I'm not sure it was worthwhile. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
