UPDATE (August 2026):. As a returning customer who loved the Wagyu Wednesday special here before, today’s experience was highly disappointing. Their website actively advertises a "300g rich, buttery Wagyu sirloin" for $49. However, today they substituted it with a rump steak instead. Rump is a completely different, much cheaper cut than sirloin. Charging the exact same premium price ($49) for a cheaper cut is not fair value. The steak I received was poorly cut—very thin on one end, lean, and quite chewy. It tasted just like a normal everyday rump, with none of the premium Wagyu texture I expected. When I gave feedback, the host mentioned that the cut changes weekly depending on delivery, and advised calling ahead on Wednesdays to check what they are serving. This seems very odd for a premium steakhouse, especially since their online promotion exclusively promises sirloin with no mention of a rotating menu. While the staff tried to offer a free entrée to help, it doesn't make up for a poorly substituted, overpriced steak. I highly recommend calling ahead to verify the cut before booking. (Photos attached comparing the excellent Wagyu sirloin from my last visit to the thin, chewy rump served today). ------------------------------.
