Visited here YEARS ago for a birthday party.. I believe it was probs 2018/2019? I had honestly forgotten and didn’t even know the name of the place until I just drove by a moment ago taking a different route home. All I have to say was it was an awesome experience. No place like it here in San Antonio. I came on here hoping to see if it was open because on hot days like today I would love to come here. Very saddened to see it’s temporarily closed what happened? When will you guys be open again? Also side note, love all your responses to the few negative reviews. Handled very well and you guys get extra stars in my book for standing up for yourself as a small business! Big props. Really hope and pray you come back Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I only could rate one star I was truly hoping this place would be open to host my daughters 13th bday here since everything else was booked up already due to graduation parties, I am sad to see the business is temporarily closed because when I had seen this place being advertised I thought man, what a great idea these men put together and the fact that they are all SA based makes it 1000 percent better, I would love and hope to see this place reopen because it is such a great idea how well it was put together and looks like it's family friendly, whatever reason it has closed I hope all is okay and overcomes whatever troubles may have come, this place really does have so much potential Price per person: $1–10
I've never even been here, but was browsing around on Google maps and saw Oasis Tavern kinda by itself in somewhat of a residential neighborhood, so it piqued my curiosity. After looking at the photos I vaguely remember driving by the old place. It looks like a cool concept, am I'm a nerd for reading reviews, so I dug in. You could tell most of the reviewers liked the concept and wanted the place to succeed, so they took the time to share their experiences and honest suggestions on ways to make it better. After all, why would anyone want to drive out to Blanco and 1604 or wherever, when they can have a great place right in their own neighborhood. So then I get to Shanita's rant. I wasn't there, so I didn't witness the interaction first hand, but some people take their complaining seriously, as Shanita seems to. When she started threatening to weaponize her self proclaimed large social media folliwing to actively hurt the business I thought to myself 'oh no she dint.' I thoroughly enjoyed Joe's detailed breakdown response to her, and based just on that I want to give the Oasis Tavern and Joe five stars. Now I know I need to drop by for a visit. Right on Joe! The customer is always right, but some customers just need to go be right somewhere else. If anyone actually read this, thanks for listening. Unlehermann
