Ốc House is a wonderful family-run restaurant serving authentic Southern Vietnamese cuisine. The food is full of flavor and beautifully balanced—not overly sweet or salty, just the way Vietnamese food should be. You can really taste the care and love that goes into each dish. A lovely place to enjoy delicious food and a warm, family-style atmosphere. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

Took my family here while visiting from Seattle, and it was nice to finally have a meal like this again. The dishes reminded me of similar seafood dishes I’ve had in Vietnam. We came around 8 PM and it’s not very busy. The owner was very kind and took our order in such a welcoming manner. They have a lot of interesting dishes to choose from, although the prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes. We definitely appreciated not having sales tax in Oregon, though, or the bill would have been even higher! The grilled squid was definitely my favorite, so delicious. Overall, a fun place to try with family if you’re craving Vietnamese-style seafood. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–40
