Having lived in Hawaii for 12 years, this place hits the spot. Quick service, such tender pork, and if you get the small plate, lunch for $10!! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I feel bad, their prices are great and I've been eating here for years, love the guy, but holy cow the food has gotten so bad. Got some Kahlua Pork that tastes like it was marinated in liquid smoke. Mac salad tastes like it was starting to spoil. Hawaiian Time downtown is a better bet. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You couldn’t pay me to come back and eat here. The gentleman running this food truck was very kind but the food I ordered was terrible. I’m sorry, but I have to leave an honest review and the food was disgusting. Rice was completely covered in sweet sauce and didn’t have that authentic Hawaiian bbq flavor. Mac salad was too sweet and cold—and covered in warm rice and cold sauce. I ordered their half shoyu and kalua pig—and couldn’t tell which was which bc they’re both shredded meat. Both overly salty and overcooked. It truck doesn’t remind me of the Hawaiian food I’ve experienced in the past. Definitely won’t be coming back here ever again. Probably the lowest rating I’ve ever given- 1.5 out of 10 — not bc of service but bc of poor food quality. Food: 1 Service: 3 Recommended dishes: Bottled Water
