Very tasty clam chowder. Place was expensive for what you get. Food was 80% very good. Not much else to choose from if you’re staying at this hotel, but the hotel is super Duper nice! Quiet area and cute cute houses nearby. Got table by the window to see the water. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Waited 30 minutes for lobster roll and fries. No bottle opener for bucket of beers. Host, said "busy" 2:45 on a Monday afternoon. I'd rather had no excuse than a poor one. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Ambiance is much improved since the remodel. The burgers were excellent. So was the Caesar salad. Donovan at the bar is still a wonderful asset to the staff. Waitstaff otherwise are just so so. Challenges with communication on both of our last visits. Our waiter did not understand what some of our drink orders were. This past evening Dave Gagne was there singing and he and his partner were wonderful. Although he is a fixture in Boothbay Harbor we had not heard him as yet. Very personable and accommodating. We have now placed Ocean Point Kitchen as one of our go to places to entertain visiting guests and for ourselves. We would encourage you to continue to make the menu more inventive and varied.
