Sushi is my favorite food of all time, there’s not one time that I’ve had it in egypt before and didnt take many pics and always post them online bc they usually turn out very good and look amazing. But not this time, this is genuinely the absolute worst sushi i have ever had. I got so upset it genuinely ruined my whole night, I didnt even take a picture but now i wish i did. The piece were literally smaller than bite size, barely ANY fish in them i wish i was exaggerating but i promise you i am not. Like they weren’t stingy about one type of fish, no, everything. All i tasted was rice. And the portion was very small bc like i mentioned the pieces were very tiny. Absolutely tasteless. And the service was so ??? Ive never been served sushi without wassabi & pickled ginger but guess what? They werent served to us until we asked for it. And the wasabi was literally tasteless or kinda sour? I cant even describe it properly. But the umami flavor that hits ur palate was not there. That was NOT wassabi. 30 MICRO sized pieces of basically only rice, no wassabi, the soy sauce vessel/bowl was not made for soy obviously bc it was very tiny and even those little piece couldnt be dipped in it. And to top it all off, it’s all overpriced. When we complained to the chef about everything, very nicely may i add, all he had to say to us was “m3lesh, next time it will be better isa” that genuinely made me laugh cuz there really isn’t going to be a next time. Terrible experience bgad.
