The worst roast I've eaten, the meat was totally tough and not of good quality! The portion was also very small. Add salt to the side dish. Starter was OK, but nothing special. We won't be coming back, the price/performance ratio isn't justified! My husband's fish soup was delicious. My dessert wasn't convincing either. The tangerines were full of seeds! Unfortunately our expectations could not be met! The hotel and the service as well as the rooms and of course the view are very good and worth the price. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the castle restaurant “Oifach andersch”. There were two of us and we wanted to indulge ourselves with culinary delights. Everyone had a starter and a total of 3 main courses. Expectations were high due to the good references so far and the high price level The starters tasted ok, there wasn't much to complain about. None of the main courses could score points. The scallops with the truffle tasted musty and were overcooked. Too bad about the truffle. We had to give the portion back. But we weren't even asked if something was wrong. So I ordered roast roast with spaetzle twice more. First of all, the positive; the spaetzle and the sauce were excellent. However, the meat was of poor quality. Completely stringy and chewy. It was small, so not too much had to be thrown away. When we pointed this out to the boss, she was a little surprised and offered us not to charge for a portion or to give us a shot on the house. With some wine and all that, the bill was well over 200.00 euros Instead of the one portion as promised, we were only deducted one beer. I found it really pathetic. We usually get a schnapps in the area anyway and you don't have to go far for a better roast and a cheaper one too. The next morning the breakfast buffet was already empty at 9:30 a.m. At least this was refilled except for bread after asking twice. Overall, the catering was disappointing, at least this weekend.
